Due to its full metal design, the SITRANS FVA250 variable areameter with a standard length of 250 mm (9.84 inch) can be usedto measure many different types of liquids and gases passingthrough closed piping. The robust design means that it can also beused in harsh conditions. The various types of flange connections,linings and float materials satisfy the requirements of thepharmaceutical and chemical industries.
The measured value is displayed directly on the scale with thestandard version. For process monitoring and control, the devicecan be equipped with a transmitter (MEM) as well as limitswitches.
功能
Flow measurement with the SITRANS FVA250 is performed according tothe float principle. The flowing medium lifts the conical float inthe measuring ring. This increases the ring gap until anequilibrium is established between the buoyant force of the mediumand the weight of the float. The height of the float is directlyproportional to the flow rate. The movement of the float istransmitted from one magnet to another magnet in the display unitoutside of the measuring tube.
